AGM & Viewing of some of Ipswich Museum's Beadwork Collections

Sunday 15 July 2012 10.30-4.30 in the Lower Tudor Room at Christchurch Mansion, Christchurch Park, Bolton Lane, Ipswich, Suffolk IP4 2BX

We will hold our AGM in the Lower Tudor Room at Christchurch Mansion (part of Ipswich Museum but not the High Street Museum building) in the morning. In the afternoon we have arranged for documentation officer Joan Lyall (who is very interested in costume) to show us a range of beaded items from the Ipswich Museum Collections.

Please bring any beads or bead-related items, recently acquired or otherwise, for our usual 'Bring & Show' tables.

The approximate timetable will be as follows:-

• 10-11.00 arrive at Christchuch Mansion, chat etc. Set up Bring & Show items. Tea/Coffee etc in the Lower Tudor Room.
• 11-12.30 AGM
• 12.30-2.00 Lunch (we will advise later if there is food available in the Museum, otherwise bring a packed lunch)
• 2.00-4.00 Joan Lyall will show us beaded items from the Museum's reserve collections and members will be able to go to the main Museum in the High Street to see examples of archaeological beads (among other things).
